Education
Stable school funding isn't just good for kids — it's good for this community. Nobody wants to send their child to a classroom with 35 fifth graders and one exhausted teacher. Underfunded schools don't just hurt our children and staff; they impact the future residents of the Hillside Area.
Emergency & Fire Safety
In the event of a wildfire or other disaster, we need a to keep our families safe. I will fight to make sure this is a priority in Juneau.
Affordability
Heating our homes will only become more costly. We must devise a plan utilizing our homegrown energy resources.
Supporting Our Workforce
Our first responders and teachers deserve a defined benefit plan. These are hard, demanding jobs — at the very least, the people doing them should be able to retire with dignity.
